Here’s one way you can help:

Back to School Bash

Fain Counselor Kacy Moses has asked us to partner with them for a Back to School Bash for a group of students who will be new to their school due to re-districting.  On Friday, August 4, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm we’ll be at the apartment complexes on Professional Drive serving hot dogs, chips, cookies, and water to students and their families.  If you’d like to help us serve, contact the church office for details.

The school will be handing out backpacks and school supplies.  They will also be providing hygiene bags for the students but need our help filling these bags.  We’ve secured toothbrushes and probably toothpaste but need:

• shampoo
• body wash
• comb or brush
• deodorant

Pick up one or two of these items the next time you’re at the store, and then drop them off in the marked containers in the Church Office or Narthex. These hygiene bags will be distributed both at the Back to School Bash and throughout the school year.
