Objectives
-To provide a high quality, comprehensive child care program based on the fundamental factors of child development.
-To provide a warm, loving, safe, and healthy Christian environment that is clean, attractive and allows children and families to feel happy, relaxed, and secure.
-To involve children in constructive group and individual activities.
-To establish thorough and ongoing communication with parents in order to maintain sensitivity to the individual needs of each child and to maximize his or her learning and socialization experiences while in childcare.
-To include multicultural learning opportunities in all areas of classroom scheduling and programming.
About our caregivers
All caregivers have current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s certifications. Each member of our staff completes an orientation program before starting to work. In addition they are required to complete 30 training hours each year.
What classroom will your child be in?
- Infants
3 months – 16 months - Toddlers
12 months –24 months
Able to walk, drink from a sip cup, and take an afternoon nap - Big Tots
2 years- 3 years
Able to walk in a group, and sit at a table - 3-K
3 on or before September 1st - Pre-K
4 on or before September 1st - School Age
Kindergarten- 6th grade
5 years- 12 years old
Our after school program
Children Come First is also available to pick up grade school children from the following schools and is divided into three van routes as follows:
- Southern Hills, Ben Franklin
- Crockett, Fain
- Fowler, Ben Milam
We provide a supplemental afternoon snack for After School Children.
What you need to enroll:
- Complete enrollment packet
- Current shot record & medical release
- Payment for the enrollment fee and the first week of care
Please turn in your information at least one working day before your child will begin care.
