Nearly every semester, students arrive from all over the globe to study at our neighbor, Midwestern State University. Many of these students arrive with little more than a few suitcases full of clothes and personal items. That’s why First Christian Church has supplied these students with items for their dorms or apartments. From bedding and pillows, to dishes and kitchen supplies, these items allow students to focus on their studies rather than outfitting their living space.
But our commitment to these students isn’t limited to supplies at the beginning of the semester. First Christian Church is involved in meeting needs across campus, including participation in
- the annual Global Education banquet featuring foods and entertainment from countries around the world
- Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for students who remain in town during the holidays
- food drives for the Mustang Pantry and donations to the Canan Food Security Program
- and more.
